This piece is signed in the lower facing left corner, but indistinguishable...something like Kroenning? IT appears to be a unique image with the large figure of a wolf looking away toward a human figure laying on the ground, that figure having a lance/spear thru him as well as an arrow nearby, and artifacts around him. There are birds circling above, a large moon on the horizon, trees, mushrooms and foliage. The plaque measures approx 10" x 14" and is nearly 1/2" thick. The weight is a tad above one pound. This does not appear to be a commercial subject with scene preprepared for pyrography, but a unique design and choice by the artist, real Folk Art. The surface is relatively raw, no shine or covering. There are light wear marks which you can see in the image, but it is quite good after surviving for many decades...likely made pre WWII. It had no frame. Check out my OTHER ITEMS/SELLER STORE.
Visit my Ebay Seller Store for more items, both auction and Buy It Now. While I do try to find the least expensive shipping company after an item is purchased, initially shipping within the US contiguous states is determined by the Ebay/PO calculator. BUT, I compare costs to Fed Ex and UPS, and refund any overpayment that exceeds $2.00.
I also do combine items for lowered shipping cost as well as refund overpayments if more than two dollars. Most of my items close on Sunday evenings, 9:00 Central.
I’m Always happy to take questions or comments.
I do want all my customers to be satisfied, so please, let me know your concerns so I can assist.
Payment
via ebay should be ASAP.
Also,
posting feedback seems such a natural, easy and thoughtful thing to do.
